Well, the Sandman Legends had a very poor showing overall in 2025, but last year was a bona fide success. So here’s hoping 2026 is a banner year for our experts, and that the momentum starts right now with the very first pick sheet of the new year.
This is a smaller slate with only eight games, the two CFP semifinals and the six NFL Wild Card matchups. And of those eight games, four have near-consensus.
Eight of our eleven Legends like Indiana to cover against Oregon, with only Robot Rob, Keith Vesper, and Hakan Yumusaklar showing faith in the Ducks. Nine of eleven think the resurgent Patriots will take care of the Chargers at home, with only Yumusaklar and Bierman backing the Bolts. Surprisingly, nine of eleven also like the Jaguars to beat the Bills in Jacksonville, with only Yumusaklar and Wintermote siding with Buffalo. And in a clean sweep, all eleven Legends believe the No. 2 seed Chicago Bears will handle the Packers at home in Soldier Field.
It should be another fun weekend of football, and here’s hoping the Legends get off to a hot start in 2026.
